A few quotes from the thread, and a link:
It's probably a long shot but I'm wondering if anyone here knows what happened to Myriad Network. It appears like as if they've sold off their VPS customers to EMC Telecom and the webhosting customers to sprhost, both of which I've not heard of before. Tickets are also getting responded to from supportcenter.tv which I've also not heard of before especially since Myriad had their own ticketing system in place years ago. -- MinglongAnd another from a particular user:
EMC...........WOW they could not have made a worst decision where there customers were concerned. My experience with EMC was horrible and I have absolutely no respect for any VPS provider who oversells beyond a "reasonable" amount. With EMC my VPS on virtuozzo was already running 400% cpu load at times before I even had a chance to upload my files to there box. EMC did admit the box was "apparently" oversold and after talking with other VPS customers of EMC I found this was not uncommon but merely how they conduct business. If anyone got moved to EMC I would highly consider looking elsewhere immediately.Suddenly, things aren't looking so good for Myriad Network clients if the company did in fact sell out to EMC telecom based on this users' previous experience. We'll see how things proceeds.

I am so disappointed that Tom Peterson would sell us out to such a bad company. Tom had built a steller web hosting firm, but the sale was the worst experience ever. I considered Tom a partner in my business and he really let me down.
EMC telecom misconfigured my server, lost / ignored support tickets, overcharged me, deleted my data, changed settings with no warning, and blamed me for it all.

OMG, if i haven't chance upon this site i would still be in the dark as so why they are taking such a #@$%^&$ long time to rectify my issue.
In fact, its not even rectified yet. Since Feb... any recommendations?

UPDATE!
Just when I thought it couldn't get worse with Myriadnetwork, it did! I must have sent them 6 emails telling them to cancel the account and refund the money but got NO response. The only thing they did was deactivate my account, which lead me to believe it WAS canceled. That was until they just stole anohter $210 from me.
When I email them tellimg them I was going to sue them they responded that I still had an account. But just to check I tried to access the the account only to find NONE there!!!

I've been with Myriad for over 3 years with a dedicated server. In Feb 09 they moved my account to a VPS without telling me. When I found out they told me they would only charge me $60 for a VPS. The very next week they charged me for the dedicated server and when I complained the credited my account $300 but would NOT put in back in my account.
I had no choice but to cancel. They still have over $300 of my money and will NOT answer my emails reqest to refund my money!!!!
STAY away!!! Something has changed for the very bad there!!!

Myriad is like a bad nightmare that won't stop. I've also had VDS with Myriad for couple of years until the the mysterious server migration that left my VDS inaccessible. They assigned a wrong set of IPs and gave me root access to another company's virtual server. My sites were down for over a week. I canceled as soon as I got access to my files. Just when I think the nightmare is over, I get a quarterly service charge in my bank account. I've canceled over a month ago! No email or receipt confirmation from Myriad, just a large fraudulent credit card charge. I emailed Myriad, but of course no response.

"My stuff came back online after DNS propagation. Not sure why you guys are freaking out about data center moves..."
@Aaron, Are you insane, or do you just work there?
The way they treated me as a customer is inexcusable. The service they provided - or rather failed to provide, was the worst. It's not acceptable to take down whole servers and have them offline for days at a time, even worse when it's done without prior notice!

I was with Myriad for 3 years and they were great, until they were sold just recently. IP changes, support changes, major downtime, etc. all with no notice. Not like the Myriad I knew...
Very obviously not the same company anymore - even if they weren't sold, as some people are saying, they are now a completely different company and can't be recommended. It's too bad really.
Moved my sites. Do the same.

Ugh, that had to be my worst customer experience ever!
They moved stuff without warning or explanation at least twice and when it was all done they left my databases corrupted.
It even took me a week to get my account canceled. I'm glad I replaced my credit card number on file with a dummy number before starting the cancellation process! (There's a tip for those of you who are leaving *next* month!)

Yup, I've lost at least one client over this already. Moving my sites as fast as can but they keep coming up with more problems faster than I can move. I'm getting requests for refunds, I'm certainly going to be requested one from them. I used to recommend this formerly great company without hesitation - too bad to see how they've fallen.

Myriad's customer service and communication are very, very poor.
I had a reseller account with them for over 3.5 years and was quite happy but that's changed radically in the past month or so.
In response to an email I sent outlining my concerns, they claimed that they have not been sold. But regardless, from the poor service I've experienced as of late, it might as well have been. It's like a completely different company now, with no understanding of good business practices.
I've moved my sites elsewhere and am much relieved to have gotten out.

I am so dissapointed in Myriad Networks. I can't belive Jeff would sell us out like that, with no warning. I have been with them for over 5 years it seems, all these new names I am seeing here. Isn't a company suppose to let their customers know when they sell out, before causing such problems for everyone? I smell a lawsuit here... I am so pissed off I can't tell you how angry I am at them. I signed up a new customer here, and the email did not work they were in the middle of migration.. nice of them to let anyone know what the hell was going on... STAY AWAY FROM MYRIAD!

Yes, thanks for the post. im a user since 2004 and now this crap. i'm moving ASAP thanks guys..

From what I heard, Myriad had a lot of full servers, which caused the problems of moving to a new data center. Myriad is STILL Myriad. EMC Telecom is just the data center they moved to.
My stuff came back online after DNS propagation. Not sure why you guys are freaking out about data center moves...
When have you ever heard they go perfectly. Just stay on top of your DNS and you should be good. Make sure you always have backups and then you dont have to worry about probs.

I have a VPS account with Myriad and as of now my site has been down for 48 hours strait. No response from support ticket in 12 hours.
Sat, 7 February 2009, 21:34
Myriad Networks has completely fallen apart as of 2009. Stay Away - they have made several unconscionable moves costing my business lost time, resources, and credibility.

I have been with Myriad for 3 years. Their service and uptime have been impeccable, until last week. First they migrated both of my VDS accounts with no warning, bringing my sites down and with vague, incomplete instructions how to get them back up. I spent 3 days and 30+ email exchanges trying to get them back up. This weekend February 2nd they migrated my reseller account causing DNS foul ups that have had most of my 70+ sites down for 5 days and counting. They have been completely silent about the purchase, deleting unfavorable posts from their forum and now they've completely taken the forum down.

Myriadnetwork.com has sold their business to ecmtelecom.com. I have been with myriadnetwork for almost 5 years and they have always helped with problems, guess what !! last week I submitted a ticket and got a different help desk , there was IP changes all over the place, sites going up and down complaints from clients on the forum which is somthing I have never seen before.
Be aware if you think you are still dealing with myraidnetwork.com you are not.
You are dealing with emctelecom.com and these guys will put you out of business, I was lucky I pulled all my clients sites straight away , I could smell a rat. From my experience with them stay well away from these guys , they have no respect for thier clients , arghhhhhhhh
