My first year with Hummingbird Hosting was good. It then started going downhill fast. They had some real problems with their servers (partially due to a fire) and my website went down numerous times (along with my e-mail addresses) Even when they got everything up and running again, I was having problems so they told me they would move me to a newer server. This caused even bigger issues and my site was down more than it was up. During all of this I was trying to communicate with them, and I have to say their customer service skills are terrible. They would often ignore my support tickets, and were rude when I told them I expected better service. I finally decided I had had enough and canceled my membership. When I first joined Hummingbird and was happy with them, I had recommended them to a colleague who signed up with them too. Once I left, all I can think is they blacklisted me for not staying with them! My friend could not send me e-mails any more. Every other email address he had worked fine but mine! Coincidence? I don't think so! Not the most professional way to run a company. The long and the short of it is my friend finally left them (due to many of the same issues I had) and with his new provider can now send me e-mails again! If I were you I would steer well clear of this company.

Hummingbird Hosting used to be a reliable Australia-based webhost. A year or so ago they were bought by the UK-based No Wires Ltd. (RelicHost, ZZHosting), and it's been downhill ever since. As I write this review, the server with all my domains has been out of commission for over THREE WEEKS. Yes, weeks. No support. No back-up file access. Nothing. I was left with no choice but to reconstruct my sites from scattered backup files and get them back online with a new host. Save your money and your sanity and avoid Hummingbird Hosting and the many other incarnations of No Wires.

This company bought out my hosting provider about a year ago and the service has slowly been getting slower. Now my site has been down for almost a week and very little response from tech support. As soon as I get access to my data, I will be transferring my hosting accounts over.

I have been using Hummingbird hosting for several years, for five of my websites. Until about two months ago, I was quite happy, but recently they changed somehting in their settings and now I can't receive emails on any of my websites hosted through them. I have tried to solve this problem with their technical support, but after a month of emailing back and forth they have finally told me that everything is ok on their end. That is impossible, because all of my 5 websites are having the same problems, which means I have to look for another hosting service now. The worst is, my business has suffered a huge blow because it is an online business. So if you are looking for a hosting provider, DO NOT GO FOR HUMMINGBIRD.

I have been with Hummingbird Hosting for several years now. My biggest problems have been downtime & service. I host my own Ebay pics and it seems whenever I try to sell something the servers are down and my pictures are not displayed. This has happened repeatedly.

As far as service. It takes forever for someone to get back and my last ticket, submitted over a month ago, has never been responded to, accept for the autoresponder.

I like their control panel & applications but I need to move to someone that is more reliable.
